Four-Week Art Mentorship: In-Studio Immersive Experience
Join us for an intimate four-week art mentor-style class held live in Valerie Allen’s studio—an industrial and quirky space that is designed to inspire, challenge, and support your artistic growth. There is limited seating for a small group. Each weekly three-hour session blends hands-on artmaking with meaningful dialogue, guided mentorship, and exposure to contemporary artistic practices from around the world.
Throughout the program, you will:
Create new artwork during dedicated studio time supported by individualized guidance.
Engage in thoughtful discussions about the artistic and creative process, exploring how ideas develop and transform.
Receive constructive critiques in a supportive environment that encourages experimentation and refinement.
Experience live demos presented by Valerie in diverse mediums expanding your visual vocabulary and artistic awareness.
Dive into journal prompts that deepen self-reflection and creativity.

In-person studio package includes 4 three-hour Studio Sessions for a total investment of $350.00.

Yes, it is Michigan, so any classes cancelled due to weather or illness of instructor will be rescheduled. This is a "down and dirty" studio setting so wearing warm paint clothes is a must. Think New York loft in the days of Abstract Expressionism.
