Join professional artist Valerie Allen on Zoom for a personalized, bi-weekly mentorship program designed to elevate your artistic practice. Each one-hour private session offers in-depth, constructive critiques of your current artwork, along with thoughtful discussion about your studio habits, creative process, and artistic goals. You pick the day of the week and time convenient for your schedule. These are bi-weekly sessions.

Across sixty minutes, Valerie guides you in strengthening essential art fundamentals—including composition, color, and concept—while helping you uncover and refine your unique artistic voice. Beyond skill development, you’ll also receive support in best practices for art promotion, empowering you to confidently present and share your work.

This mentorship is tailored to the individual artist. Whether you need feedback on new pieces, direction in your studio practice, clarity in your creative vision, or guidance on navigating the professional art world, you are encouraged to bring your personal goals and challenges to each session.

Four-Week Art Mentorship: In-Studio Immersive Experience

Starts in 2026 on February 18, 25, March 4 and 11. Wednesdays from 1-4pm Eastern in Midland, MI.

Join us for an intimate four-week art mentorship held live in Valerie Allen’s studio—an industrial and quirky space that is designed to inspire, challenge, and support your artistic growth. There is limited seating for a small group. Each weekly three-hour session blends hands-on artmaking with meaningful dialogue, guided mentorship, and exposure to contemporary artistic practices from around the world.

Throughout the program, you will:

• Create new artwork during dedicated studio time supported by individualized guidance.

• Engage in thoughtful discussions about the artistic and creative process, exploring how ideas develop and transform.

• Receive constructive critiques in a supportive environment that encourages experimentation and refinement.

• Experience live demos presented by Valerie in diverse mediums expanding your visual vocabulary and artistic awareness.

• Dive into journal prompts that deepen self-reflection and creativity.
